Do you contour your makeup or want to get started? What about color correcting?
If you have been keeping up with your favorite makeup perfectionists, and the beauty world in general then you will know about the new natural craze of contouring, which has gone wild on Instagram and the beauty industry.
The Kardashian clan helped usher in the contouring trend, making it a global phenomenon. We’re just starting to perfect our technique and already a new makeup craze is popping up: color correcting. It functions like contouring in that you draw on your face like an elementary school chalkboard. But rather than just focusing on light or dark areas, color correcting balances out the skin tone using opposite hues on the color wheel.
Orange counters dark under eye spots, green covers redness, yellow balances out any purple bruises and the list goes on. Foundation is applied after for a flawless finish. It’s a complicated method but if applied correctly the results are stunning.
And the best part about color correcting is you don’t have to do a full face of makeup to get results. A little bit of green to cover a red spot or yellow to conceal a zit will do the trick.

I have! Just about everyone has. But do you know how she got her start. And it is quite interesting.
One of the world’s most famous fashion designers began her career as a mime. In 1978, Miuccia Prada inherited a leather goods company started by her grandfather, Mario over 60 years before. At that time, the Prada brand was associated with finely made leather traveling accessories. As for Miuccia, she was a student of political science and a mime, and her design experience was limited to items she had made for herself.
Once Miuccia assumed control of the company, her power as a designer became apparent. She took the designs of handbags that she had made for herself and turned them into the world’s first Prada handbag. A sleek statement in black that became synonymous with the Prada name.
In the 80s and 90s, Prada branched out from handbags and luggage, introducing the world to a line of clothing with clean lines and elegant fabrics. Miuccia Prada also experimented with more exotic materials, incorporating latex and pieces of mirrors into her designs. Of course the Prada handbag was still a coveted treasure, but the handbag has been joined by leather belts and high fashion shoes.
